Case Study · East London
Recurring mould in a rear bedroom was resolved by diagnosis-led remediation and removal of incompatible finishes.
Mould returned each winter despite repeated cleaning and repainting. Existing finish layers were dense and reduced wall drying potential.
We confirmed condensation and trapped moisture factors, removed non-breathable layers, then rebuilt with vapour-open materials and ventilation guidance.
Surface conditions stabilised and the homeowner reported improved comfort with no recurring visible mould through the next damp season.
"They diagnosed first instead of jumping to quick fixes, which made all the difference."
