Project facts
- Property: 1930s solid-wall home
- Duration: 7 days on site
- Scope: Front reception external wall
- Materials: Wood fibre board system, lime plaster finish
Case Study · West London
A cold front room in a solid-wall property was upgraded with wood fibre and breathable finishes for better comfort.
The room was cold and uncomfortable in winter, with condensation risk at wall edges. Previous repainting had not solved the issue.
We designed a vapour-open internal insulation build-up with careful reveal detailing and a compatible plaster/finish sequence.
Internal surface temperatures improved and the homeowner noted warmer comfort levels with reduced condensation risk.
"The room now feels consistently warmer and still looks true to the house."
